Year of birth is a guesstimate. He was stated to be between 40 and 50 in the 1776 census of Protestants in Clone Known from Glascott tree in Stephens Ms. of Clobemon, Co Wexford Also de Rinzi tree in Bentham Will extracts Vol 13 p138 giving names of children and wife. Will dated 17 May 1781 proved 28 May 1781 Will extract copied from web page of Charles Ryall Will mentions two hundred pounds ster. to his dearly beloved wife Elizabeth, son Mathew Derenzy , second son Thos Derenzy, Son William Derenzy the sum of five hundred pounds Ster to be paid to him when he arrives at the age of twenty one years. Bequeath to fourth son Henry Derenzy the sum of five hundred pounds Sterling to be paid to him when he arrives at the age of twenty one years. To eldest daughter Elinor Derenzy the sum of five hundred pounds Ster: to be paid to her when she arrives at twenty one years or the day of her marriage. Brother Richard Derenzy, and brother Annesley House Derenzy. (From fragment of will dated 17 October 1781. Discovered by Ruth and Tom Gallagher at the Registry of Deeds, Dublin. Not listed.] In this will made during October 1778, Thomas made provision for his sons Mathew, Thomas, William and Henry and his eldest daughter Elinor. He also mentioned his brothers Annesley and Richard. John was not mentioned.
