Year of birth is a guesstimate Betham's Will abstract Vol 7 page 342 has a note written in a different hand under Anne, wife of Silvester Cross "Widow of Ryves, Dean of St Patrick, dau of Anthony Maude". In the original hand there is also "Alice Ryves dau in law to S.G. by step dau (sic)" Burke Commoners of Gt Britain and Ireland Vol 3 says she was the neice of the Bishop of Ossory In a letter to Kathleen Ward dated 1936 there is an extract from a family bible written orignally by Anne Maude in which she says that her mother's name was Alice. One page of the extract is missing and also the copy misses out some years.
