Her father's name was Roberto Browne Studied at Lyceum and University of Malta . Left malta in 1882 for Rome British Consul at Rome . Appointed Vice Consul at Rome 1888 and in June 1 1899 appointed Consul Acting Consul at Rome 1888, 1890, 1892 and 1893 and in each year 1896 to 1899 Conferred "Donat of Devotion of the First Class" of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta on 31st January 1906, with inscription to the British Association of the Order. Also awarded OBE Cause of death : "Heart failure due to overwork" Obituary in The Times , Thursday 15th May 1919
