Note on Husband: Percy Tilson MAGAN - shared note

He was sent to the USA in 1884 by his father to be an apprentice rancher in Nebraska. Friends took hime to hear a Seventh Day Adventist preacher. He joined them. He rose rapidly within the organization and became dean of the Emmanuel Missionary College in Mitchegan. He trained as a doctor in Nashville, Tennesse where he graduate cum laude in 1914. In 1915 he was elected as dean of the College of Medical Evengelists in California. He became president in 1928. He became a very distinguished doctor.
